Yes Castellanos Yes!
It was bleak heading into the 8th inning. San Diego held a confident 3-1 lead. Then Kyle Schwarber hit a bomb and it was over. I knew it was over. The Padres ran out of momentum while the Phillies had some late game magic. Schwarber's home run closed the gap and it was a 3-2 game heading into the ninth inning. Bryce Harper quickly got on base and Bryson Stott sent him home with a single. The game was tied, 3-3. With no outs, Nick Castellanos stepped up to the plate and ripped a shot towards right field. Fernando TatÃs Jr. raced in the direction of the ball, sliding to try to make the catch...and couldn't. The walkoff double sent Alec Bohm in and gave Philadelphia a thrilling win.

Castellanos finished with an RBI and four hits. Schwarber had a homer, and Brandon Marsh and Stott each batted in a run. The Padres played tough defense, making a couple of unlikely catches and holding Philadelphia to only one point through eight innings. Pitcher Michael King tossed six K's giving up a one run. Aaron Nola also threw six strikeouts, but had a brutal sixth inning, giving up all three San Diego runs, including a two run homer. But they got the win, and that's what matters.
This win followed a thrilling 9-2 demolition of the Padres two nights ago. Kyle Schwarber blasted two, two-run homers while Christopher Sanchez pitched seven innings allowing only two runs. Trea Turner also came back logging two hits and a diving stop to help end the game.
This Phillies team is so deep. Even without J.T. Realmuto, catchers Rafael Marchan and Garrett Stubbs are making him look unnecessary. (I didn't mean it! We still need you Realmuto!) In these past two games, both had strike 'em out, throw 'em out double plays. Marchan had four hits and two RBI against the Padres two days ago. Imagine this team when everyone is healthy and ready in the playoffs.
I know other teams don't want to.
