Welcome to Philly Vic Fangio and Kellen Moore
Yes! Hope for the future! With the departure of Sean Desai, Brian Johnson, and Matt Patricia, the Eagles can look forward to better days. After all, the Eagles hit rock bottom last year towards the end of the season. How much worse, especially defensively, can you get?
Vic Fangio coached a solid defensive year in Miami. His unit earned 56 sacks, gave up only 318 yards and 23 points per game, picked 15 passes and forced 12 fumbles. They had a turnover difference of +2. His defense allowed for Tua Tagovailoa and the Penguin and the Cheetah, to thrive on field, buying them more time. An excellent example is the Week 15 win Miami took over New York. Fangio's defense shutout the Jets, picking Trevor Siemian twice, and sacking him six times. The Dolphins' electric offense stayed on the field for nearly 36.5 minutes. Jaylen Waddle had a monster eight reception 142 yard game, Raheem Mostert ran for two touchdowns and Miami shut out New York 30-0. Although one could argue that New York's offense was a nightmare, and the team finished with a 7-10 record, a shutout is a shutout. They aren't very common, and it just proves how Vic Fangio is an upgrade. Let me remind you that one of the Jets' seven wins was a 20-14 game over our Philadelphia Eagles. Yes, our team gave up 20 points to the Jets.

This revamping is exactly what the Eagles needed. Now it's up to Howie Roseman to rebuild a banged up secondary. If they can capitalize, this team is set for a good.playiff run.
