Another good off-season

Off-season moves for the Eagles have been nice! Despite losing veteran team leaders in Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox, Howie Roseman was able to bring in a lot of talent.
Starting with C.J. Garder- Johnson, who might have the funniest signing story. Last year he left Philly and joined the Detroit Lions. In a livestream he was asked his least and most favorite things about Philly. He said, "My least favorite thing is the people, they're f------ obnoxious. I f------ can't stand the f-------."(source) Obviously, I took offense, because although I would admit that Philly fans get a little overenthusiastic...we are not obnoxious
Ok maybe we are, but it doesn't matter.
However, Roseman managed to get the safety back as the Eagles will be his team for the next three years. Talk about awkward! Foot in mouth situation for sure. Gardner-Johnson had to think fast. He released a Twitter post apologizing and talking about how great the city actually was. (source
    Sure C.J.
But at least he's back. His presence will hopefully fix a horrible secondary.

It'll be an awkward reunion for sure

Devin White and Bryce Huff were other defensive signing. The young linebacker earned 2.5 sacks, 83 tackles and two picks. He's also four years separated from an 140 tackle, nine sack season, which happened during his Super Bowl LV run. With the right coaching, he has a lot of potential. Bryce Huff is a smart and speedy edge rusher with a knack for getting through offensive lines. He has a lot of good moves at his disposal which helped him get 10 sacks last year. White's deal will last one year, while Huff's, three.
The acquisitions of Kenny Pickett and Saquon Barkley were also good pickups. In only 14 games last year, he ran for 962 yards while also scoring two touchdowns. Barkley is an upgrade over D'Andre Swift, although he won't be running behind Jason Kelce. Barkley will have his work cut out for him as he offensive line is expected to decline. Kenny Pickett is a solid backup, also capable of a starting spot for many other teams. In no way am I saying he would, but it's nice to have that cushion. Pickett tossed four picks last year, but also six touchdowns. In college  at Pittsburgh he threw 42 touchdowns, which is another plus.
This offseason has been clutch for the Eagles, bringing life to a dead team. They upgraded on both sides of the ball, and could get even better with a good draft.
