The Sixers make some off-season changes

The 76ers traded away Shake Milton, Georges Niang and Jalen McDaniels, and obviously needed some replacements. And they came quickly.

Patrick Beverley joined the squad, and adds a needed spark to the team. Patrick Beverley's playing style is very similar to Jimmy Butler. In other words...he's annoying! His sassy, cocky nature gets under opponents' skin, and leads to many fights. He's feisty, and has had many run-ins with the referees. The addition of Beverley isn't exclusively for his smack talk. He averaged 6.2 points and made 33.5 percent of his three point shots. He is also an excellent defender, letting opponents pass him before blocking them from the behind or stealing the ball.

The 76ers also added Mo Bamba to the roster. Bamba provides further relief to the center position. He's a seven foot athlete with all the benefits of a seven footer and more. Unlike many tall basketball players, Bamba is not afraid to shoot from behind the arc. Last year he attempted 124 shots, and nailed 48 of them, in 49 total games. Bamba had a 38.7 three point percentage.

Patrick Beverley takes over Shake Milton and Georges Niang's place. Mo Bamba adds depth, but with James Harden wanting out of Philly, the 76ers still need another point guard. While Tyrese Maxey is capable, a player such as Damian Lillard is much more desirable. Although Lillard has made it obvious he wants to head to Miami, Philly needs him. Harden might want to stuck around a try again for a championship, but as of now, all we can do is wait.
