No Harden, Maxey, Tucker? No Problem
The Thunder didn't have answers for an offense stripped of three starters as the 76ers rolled over Oklahoma City on the road. The Thunder could not answer for the Sixers ongoing offensive pounding, which wasn't even up to the 76ers' usual standards. Four 76ers had double digit points, and Embiid crashed down on the Thunder. He had a triple double with10 dimes, 13 rebounds, and 16 points. Although 16 points is not to his standards, he had four blocks and a steal into the mix to cover up.

Embiid started the New Year off with a bang with a triple double |
Matisse Thybulle replace P.J. Tucker's spot, and Tucker better count his days. Thybulle shot three treys, and has grown comfortable with the corner three spot. He also had a rebound. Tobias Harris also had a great game with 23 points and 9 rebounds. De'Anthony Melton has received a lot more minutes after Tyrese Maxey and James Harden injuries, and has made good use of them. He had 17 points and seven rebounds against Oklahoma City, and has 12 points and 2.1 steals per game this year. Shake Milton also had 18 points.
Maxey is important, but only had nine points in his loss against the Pelicans. The Sixers' bench has proved capability earlier in this season, and is ready to face the Pelicans tomorrow at home. The 76ers completed their road trip, finishing 2-2 with wins against the Knicks and the Thunder. Tucker was out-shined by Thbyulle and is relatively old, so what does this mean for the Sixers organization.
Desperate Philly fans want LeBron James. Obviously. Every NBA fan wants LeBron James. LeBron seems to want out of Los Angeles, and who wouldn't? The Lakers were 33-49 last year and have started this year 15-21. If LeBron James joins the Sixers, overnight they would be in the Finals. Literally. No need for the playoffs. The Sixers are automatically in the NBA Finals. No need for the Finals. Just give Lebron and Embiid the Larry O'Brien trophy and leave. Obviously this is the player the Sixers want, and maybe need to end their NBA Finals drought.
Several 76ers fans have voice their one-sided LeBron-come-to-Philly opinion, but do the Sixers really want to do so? They invested in an aging Harden and Tucker, and LeBron is 38. How quickly would LeBron's career end after he came to Philadelphia? Tyrese Maxey is still growing, and Embiid is only 28, a full 10 years younger than LeBron James.
They have three games at home and need to capitalize as injuries continue to separate starters playing time.
